Please be sure to update us with your experiences (and lessons learned! - lol) when you return. I've only flown to Nassau so far, but someday I'd love to hit Grand Turk and other spots in the Caribbean.
Bon Voyage

Hey fellow MU2 drivers- anybody have any ideas on this one?
I just landed at Boeing Field, after an uneventful flight. However, on final, 2-3 miles out, I got a master caution>low fuel level warning and the main fuel gauge needle was spinning. Then the airplane felt like it was way out of trim, almost as if I had an asymmetric flap deployment. I looked at the flap indicator and the yellow light was off.
I went ahead and landed. On taxi in it appeared that both generators were offline (the ammeter was at zero on both sides) but I didn't get a Gen out warning.
By the time I had taxied in and parked, the fuel guage was working again and my flap indicator was illuminated (yellow).
I had no popped circuit breakers and no warning lights on.
Any ideas before I head back out to the airport tomorrow and get maintenance involved?

What you want is an ultralight wheelchair typically used for wheelchair sports with detachable wheels
There are many options so ideally you should have him evaluated by a knowledgable PT who can recommend the ideal size and features for him.

Tom,
You may already know this but we learned from experience with our youngest (who was in a wheelchair and lost the ability to walk for almost a year due a neurological disorder) that most of the wheelchairs allow you to remove the wheels but that the good travel ones allow you to remove them without complex tools (kind of like the quick releases on some bikes). While we did not have a short body and plenty of room in the Marquise, the ability to remove the wheels (and foot rests) significantly shrank the area of the wheelchair so that we could fit it in fairly small things (including the trunk of a compact car). Did you check in the pressurized baggage to see if the start circuit is closed? Is it spinning up but not lighting off or not doing anything when you try to start?

I just landed at MBPV. I used PROVO. It was very nice.
I hired CST services to help me for customs and handling, it was the easiest customs clearing I’ve ever done.
My only tip is pay attn to the fact that ground/tower/ and approach may be combined on one freq. I burned a lot of fuel wtg for someone to reply on ground and tower before realizing I needed to be on approach freq for taxi. Also- they want you to ask before starting your engine. At least they did to the guy next to me.
We had a ball down there.
